I almost canceled this trip before I even left.
The weather wasn’t perfect, I was running behind schedule, and by the time I reached the campsite, daylight was already disappearing.
For a few minutes, I seriously questioned whether it was worth setting everything up.
But once the tent was standing, the gear was organized, and I finally sat down for the first time all day, everything changed.
That’s something I’ve learned about camping — sometimes the best memories come from the trips you almost skip.
