I have recently become the proud owner of a Hori 5 classic. The recent updates convinced me it was time to pull the trigger. I would like to know if it is ok to have the water tank mounted to the front of the stove if there isn’t any water in it while the stove is operating?
I have a few small kettles for backcountry canoe tripping so if keeping the water tank on while empty isn’t acceptable then I will use those for my morning coffee.
on a side note I’m looking for to my camping trip with this stove. Not having to wake up every couple of hours to feed it will be very welcome.
