If you use hardwood pellets, please do not damp down too much. Make sure the flame fills about two-thirds of the window; otherwise, the chimney may cool down and lose draft.
If you must use hardwood pellets, please test carefully before long-term use, and make sure to operate the stove with a smoke alarm and a carbon monoxide alarm installed in the area.
- After exposure to high heat, stainless steel will lose part of its corrosion resistance. To keep the stove body in good condition, please apply a light coat of WD-40 or metal protectant oil on both the interior and exterior surfaces after each use.
